G R I E F C A S E Is a VERBATIM physiCal theatre show that follows G returning to their late mother’s house to pack it up for the final time. The house becomes a liminal space where past and present collide, and grief is experienced as an embodied, unresolved process.
G R I E F C A S E is designed to support people experiencing grief in its many forms. This includes bereavement, significant life changes, and complex or unrecognised loss. The initiative aims to create an inclusive, accessible space where individuals feel acknowledged and supported.
G R I E F C A S E is the solution because it fills a critical gap in grief support — centring LGBTQ+ lived experience, challenging limited narratives, and creating inclusive space for forms of grief that are often unseen, unrecognised, or unsupported.
